Forgiveness is a gift we give to ourselves. Our resentments, our angers, although at times fully justified, only hold us in a prison of pain and suffering. Forgiveness is not something that can be rushed though, and it is not meant to dismissed the pain, hurt, or struggle we are facing. In fact to truly have divine forgiveness, is to feel our suffering deeply, to hold space for the energy of it until it is ready to release.
